Recently I had a photo session with a local musician here in Nashville. He’s a pretty cool dude! Jeffrey Sway is his name and country music is his game. I was super excited to meet him and to get to know him.

Calling all Class of 2010 High School Seniors! :)

First of all I want to say a great big THANK YOU to last years senior spokesmodels! They totally rocked my socks and I am so glad to have been able to photograph them.

Now I bet you are wondering exactly what this whole senior spokesmodel thing is. Here is a little gist of it.

As a spokesmodel you will receive

• Full session (no fee) unlimited locations & clothing changes (NO PRINTS
INCLUDED). A mini session will be done in March/April and you can have
another mini session later in the summer.
• Yearbook picture
• 5×5 Bound Brag book
• 10 web size/watermarked images for MySpace or Facebook, you must leave one
of these as your default images through your graduation.
• 50 custom spokesmodel referral cards with your images

Spokes models can earn-
Print Credit,Gift Certificate to some of your favorite stores (Starbucks, Best Buy, the local Mall of your choice, Best Buy) among other things and places.

AND

One lucky spokes model will win a very special prize worth over $200.00.
*5 referral (completed and paid) minimum required to be entered into drawing

We are looking for people who are fun, energetic and ready and up for anything. I am really looking forward to the 2010 seniors and am excited to try new and fun things.

A little bit of fun

This is the last update on Jess’s photos. This was just a little fun that we had! She asked what she should do and I told her to tap dance. She laughed at me but then saw that I was serious and laughed and tap danced for me. HEHE!

I’m really excited to announce some of the fun things I’ve got going on. A few more musician photo sessions to edit and photograph and then they will be posted. I’m also thinking of scheduling some mini sessions. I’m not super sure about that though so we will see. 🙂 I’ll keep you posted though.

Hmmm….

So I’ve been really wanting to read lately. Weird, I know. HA! No really I have. I don’t know what I want to read though. I’m not a fiction kinda gal, or non-fiction novels. I am really into true crime murder books – this makes me really weird I know. BUT the thing is that I don’t really want to read about that lately. I’m in the mood for business books. Like motivational business books, or photography books. Any suggestions to my weird requests?

In other news, I found a really cool blog. Sometimes it’s weird because I like mom photography blogs, yet I have no kids. I find them really interesting. I’m not planning on being a mommy any time soon, but I find that they are pretty cool to read especially when it comes to my photography stuff. Anyways… I found this really cool blog – Momtog Blog – You should totally check it out. I found it today and have gone back to read every post. Pretty cool stuff in there!

I am still working on editing Miss Jess’ photos, here are a few fun ones! Click on it to see it in a larger size! 🙂

Who is going to Rock that OCF Syle?

I am! I am! We are still working on the details but the lovely Ali Hohn and I are working to schedule a workshop for all you Nashville photographers. I am super duper excited. If you don’t know who she is here is a brief she is an awesome photographer who taught herself how to use off camera flash. She now travels the states teaching workshops for those of us, me included, that don’t know as much as they would like to know about off camera flash. I stole this little brief about me section from her blog:

Welcome to a great place to learning Off Camera Flash. This is by far my favorite aspect of photography and I am so happy that you want to learn how to do this. I taught myself how to do off camera flash and I hope that you will learn a lot from me.

Here are a few details that I do know for sure: It will be June 5th – 7th, the price is $600.00, $250 due by April 10th and the rest due by March 25th. If you are interested feel free to email me, and I will get you on the list. Can’t wait to see all of your bright and shiny faces! 🙂
