Calling all Class of 2010 High School Seniors! :)

First of all I want to say a great big THANK YOU to last years senior spokesmodels! They totally rocked my socks and I am so glad to have been able to photograph them.

Now I bet you are wondering exactly what this whole senior spokesmodel thing is. Here is a little gist of it.

As a spokesmodel you will receive

• Full session (no fee) unlimited locations & clothing changes (NO PRINTS
INCLUDED). A mini session will be done in March/April and you can have
another mini session later in the summer.
• Yearbook picture
• 5×5 Bound Brag book
• 10 web size/watermarked images for MySpace or Facebook, you must leave one
of these as your default images through your graduation.
• 50 custom spokesmodel referral cards with your images

Spokes models can earn-
Print Credit,Gift Certificate to some of your favorite stores (Starbucks, Best Buy, the local Mall of your choice, Best Buy) among other things and places.

AND

One lucky spokes model will win a very special prize worth over $200.00.
*5 referral (completed and paid) minimum required to be entered into drawing

We are looking for people who are fun, energetic and ready and up for anything. I am really looking forward to the 2010 seniors and am excited to try new and fun things.

Hmmm….

So I’ve been really wanting to read lately. Weird, I know. HA! No really I have. I don’t know what I want to read though. I’m not a fiction kinda gal, or non-fiction novels. I am really into true crime murder books – this makes me really weird I know. BUT the thing is that I don’t really want to read about that lately. I’m in the mood for business books. Like motivational business books, or photography books. Any suggestions to my weird requests?

In other news, I found a really cool blog. Sometimes it’s weird because I like mom photography blogs, yet I have no kids. I find them really interesting. I’m not planning on being a mommy any time soon, but I find that they are pretty cool to read especially when it comes to my photography stuff. Anyways… I found this really cool blog – Momtog Blog – You should totally check it out. I found it today and have gone back to read every post. Pretty cool stuff in there!

Yep I did it

I blogged twice in one day. I totally rock. I wanted to share another session I did this past weekend. Her name is Ashley Larsen and she is an actress. You have to say actress like me, in that fancy accent, Act-ress (that’s where you put the emphasis on the accent). ha! She was super fun to work with and I’m glad she didn’t poke fun at me and the dork that I am. hehe! Without further adieu here is the lovely act-ress Ashley!

Downtown in the summertime…

Okay, so maybe I am really craving the warmer weather. I am really needing it now. I am so sick of feeling cold outside. Ugh! I went out with my new buddy Ryan Gallagher yesterday and we walked around downtown and just took some photos. I really love the easy-goingness (totally made that word up) that he portrays and really is. He was so easy to photograph, funny and goofy- just like me! Well maybe I”m just goofy and dorky but at least I am something. HEHE! I am going through the photos right now, here are few of my favorites so far.

Off to go edit a few more images. I am so excited about the response that I have been receiving from all of you AWESOME Nashville musicians. You rock and I can’t wait to start photographing you!

Lets give them something to talk about…

I really don’t know why I pick the titles that I do, but I do. Weird, I know. But I do like that song. I remember when I was young, probably 7 when that song came out. It’s a pretty good song.

So today I am writing because I am really excited about a new venture that I am working towards which involves YOU! Are you a musician? Do you have a band? Whats the 4-1-1

Since this is my biz blog I try to not get too personal with my life but something has happened that can affect my business. I was let go from my day job this past Tuesday so I will now have time during the day to have photo sessions. So I am going to actually run a special. If you schedule your session within the next 2 weeks you will receive 50% off your session fee. This last day to call and schedule your session is February 27th. So if you have been wanting to get in and get that perfect photo of you and your family this is the perfect time.

In other news, my heart aches to tell you this, but my beautiful client Zoey passed away last Friday. I have to be honest and say that she has been an inspiration to me. She has inspired me to be a better person and to love with my whole heart and every part of my body. Thank you Zoey for being such an inspiration, and you didn’t even know it. Below is my favorite image from the session. Look at the connection between her and mom.

So a few weeks ago I had a six month session for this little man, Jackson. I really just want to steal him and take him home. Oh and it also helps that he is my sweet friend Katies little man and I get to see him ANY time I want. Check out this handsome lil fella.

Well how do you do…

So… I don’t really have much to share today. Oh wait… One other thing. I’m re-designing my website and have decided that I OFICIALLY suck at it. Okay so I don’t suck at it I just don’t enjoy it AT ALL! Anyways… I am looking for someone who wants to trade services, and I don’t mean icky “services” I mean, trade our talents. You can design my website-since you love it so much- and I can take pictures of you, your family or your baby. It’s just that easy. Okay, so spread the word.

Hey Bella Flora friends! I have been intending to blog about this for a little while. As of January 2009 I am no longer portfolio building. Due to this I will be doing a limited amount of complimentary sessions in exchange for a free print. This alone is a $120 value! I am looking for 2 participants in each of these categories:

Maternity
Newborn
Engagement/Couples
High School Seniors (2 boys and 2 girls)
Little girls who want to run around in pettiskirts
Musicians/Bands

Each session will last about an hour. A model release is required for all of the sessions listed above. In return for your time you will receive a free 8×10 from your session and the ability to purchase your sessions prints at a 10% discounted rate. Miss Zoey is beautiful

So I finished editing Miss Zoey’s pictures and I have to say that she is just the most beautiful young lady ever. Every time I look at her photos it just warms my heart. She reminds me every day to appreciate the ones that I love and keep near and dear to my heart. She will forever be my inspiration to be a better person. I look forward to photographing her with her family when the weather gets warmer. Here are a few more from my session with her.

I’ve got lots of great things in store for all of you. Can’t wait to get them on here. I have an AWESOME new senior spokesmodel program starting up soon. Keep an eye out for it. And I will have much much more fun stuff going on. Starting off with a little contest. More info to come with that. Hope all of you had a great Christmas and New Year.
